Plated pendant with freshwater pearl

A round gold plated pendant with white pearl from the Mix & Match collection of Jeh Jewels. Beads as a reaction to a penetrated particle, such as sand, or a parasite, in the shell. The encapsulation of this intruder eventually creates the pearl. They come in many colors and are known for their beautiful pearly shine.

Gilding is the covering of an object with a layer of gold. This article is dipped in a gold bath which causes the silver to be completely covered with a layer of gold. Showing a beautiful glossy finish with a layer of real gold which is also called silverplated or goldplated.
